Good news for the entreprenuers out there – the capital community wants to know how to become a better suitor to your company.  A survey released last week by the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA) – a first of its kind – offers insights into the effectiveness of perceptions and behaviors of Venture Firms.

Interviews with VC firms, entrepreneurs and limited partners, uncovered messages and channels that can empower venture investors to better connect with their most important audiences.  It also revealed certain gaps between which messages VC firms believed resonated with CEO’s versus what perceptions venture-backed CEOs actually embrace.

“Entrepreneur-friendly” was the top quality for entrepreneurs, selected by 58% of those surveyed, followed closely by “trustworthy.”
